Vcds Rns-d Phone Preparation

Hello All,I have just recently installed myself the Bluetooth upgrade to my headunit. I purchased the VCDS to program in the 77 - Telephone option. However, I am missing some step, the systems is just not coming alive. I have the VW GPS MFD2 CD/DVD unit.I used the VCDS to program in some other Central Convenience options like windows up with remote, easy-in/out with the seats, unlock all doors with one remote click.I installed myself the fog kit, but that is a work in progress. I need to hook up one last wire to get it all to work.Anyway, if you have experience programing the VCDS with a vocal installation, please give me a shout or send me a message. Here is my part number. I am pretty sure it is the Volk-L.I did the installation myself. I wonder if I made a mistake.

I am just not getting any response from it, it doesn't show up when I scan for bluetooth devices. I wonder if my telephone button in my steering wheel isn't connected to anything.I might have to take the center console apart again to get behind there to make sure everything is connected. On a side note, my fog light install is complete. I can scan the manual and post it here. I bought the fog light kit!

It was pretty easy. Hi,Awesome help! I did get it to work. Once I have time, I will screen capture what is there to further aid the support base of the forum so when others have the same issue they will benefit from this thread. My telefon setting is different than D-CellMekanick, it turns out the setting that worked was 412120 and not 402120.Also, in the CAN-Setting tab, the checkbox for Digital Radio needed to be UNCHECKED! I don't have a receiver for digital radio and it was blocking the Bluetooth from working. This was fundamental in catching why I was not getting anywhere. No change to the steering wheel buttons setting was necessary.Lastly, inside the Telefone 77 option, the testing option button was very useful to check if indeed the wiring was correct. Because, while the settings above were off/incorrect, the test did push a test dial tone through the speakers.

Vcds Features

Once, that occurred - my wiring was verified by the test dial tone, therefore; I started to try checkboxes in the CAN Setting Button.I will add pictures of the VCDS once I have time to do all that.-ONE QUESTION STILL REMAINS:Does anybody with a Volk-L system get their music to play from the phone through the bluetooth to the car?The Volk-L recognizes my phone call and patches it through, but if I stream music on my phone, it won't go through the bluetooth. I am wondering if this is just my phone or a limitation of the Volk-L. Hi,Awesome help! I did get it to work. Ross Tech Procedures

I read it all and I have just the same set up as yours, however if you have mfd2 navi you do have digital radio which is your Sat radio I have mine working but when play music will only play from top speakers and it would not me a good sound I am working on that as well I was wondering can you tell me where and how did you plug your volk wires on the back? Because the navi has more plugs and I remember when I was installing the Aux cable it had it was totally different from the other radios.
