So Prophecy of Pendor has a very interesting backstory system, 2 paths have a big effect on your starting position, ignoring noble renown. Who your father was and your reason for adventuring are intertwind.

How to disable windows defender 2019. How to Turn Off Windows Defender in Windows 10. This wikiHow teaches you how to turn off Windows Defender, both temporarily and 'permanently', in Windows 10. While Windows Defender can be disabled until you restart your computer from. Although Windows 10 doesn't include an option to uninstall Windows Defender Antivirus, you can still permanently disable the feature, and here in this guide, we show you how to do it.

As such I am leaving the other options out as they're native. (just spoken differently)Our father is the followingNow our reason for leaving is the very important part.

Gems

There are 2 choices that matter heavily.' You Received the message that your father has died' and 'A Letter that Changed your Life Forever'. This may get confusing as like I said, Father and Adventure are connected with almost all the choices. I am going to just give the important couples.Who your father was is going to be keyed;N = Noble, M = Merchant, K = Knight, A = Adventure, L = Leader, R = Rough Figure, P = Physician.

First of all, you're going to need money, a lot of it! Luckily Pendor is full of enemies, Vanskerry raiders, deserter parties, Heretics, Snake Cult Followers, a smorgasbord of battles awaiting you!If you're going to survive pendor you're going to need to be the biggest bully, putting all of your points into leadership when you can is quite helpful early on as leadership gains 10 men instead of 5. But when you gain some ground (not literally), then you're going to rely on renown. Luckily, I don't think it is difficult to get, by day 500 - 750, I was up to 5000 renown. And thanks to 7 or 8 leadership, I was hauling 416 max. Might I add, that makes morale a very big pain in the butt! But after you gain some men, you're gonna have to go for quality over quantity, when you're late game then you can actually haul both! But grab some men, and start hunting a couple parties!Once you're done getting your butt kicked we are now onto factions! We got the Feirdsvain, their huscarls- deadly axes, but up against that we got the Ravenstern Keirguards, who can take a punch and deliver one.

On the other side we got the Sarleon Armored Longbowmen, quite a mouthful of arrows you'll get from them, and don't forget the Roman Empire.cough, cough. I mean, Baccus Empire with their, deadly Legionnaires! Now for me, I like standing with good people, reputation is a big factor for your friends, sadistic and benevolant people will hate you no matter what, just don't talk to them, everyone else is fine!I am not sure which faction is best for vassels, so you might have to pick through a few listings and find the one with the most upstanding and good natured people, they're the nicest! Now after you have gained yourself some friends, you are off to ignore them- for now.I joined up with the Feirdsvain when I started, almost all of them hated me because they were sadistic, even the king!

So after realizing everyone hated me I left them for the faction that was kicking their butt; Ravenstern! Which had a king that was nice and loved me.I got my own village too! Now, you might find, fiefs really suck. Sadly, this game has a lower profit rate, you are best off building enterprises such as ale or velvet. But let's not get too ahead of ourselves, we're going to ignore being a vassel for now. So for me, my best option was tournaments and looting. So go find some arena areas (avoiding every enemy party on the way).

Win those freaking tournaments, and later, start betting max, this in all honestly is the best way to gain money in the game. So we finally have money (and XP, hopefully a lot of both)Onto being a actual vassel and starting your adventure! So now we have joined which ever faction we chose, now, we sit tight and take some bandits captive.

Sadly this is a slow part of the game, right now, you're best bet is to run around your faction area and take out the bandits. Now, while fighting and leveling up, I recommend basically becoming a slaver, as capturing prisoners and selling them is very profitable, while I was in with the Ravenstern I could knock up around 50 Mystmountain warriors if I was lucky, and then find a slaver (tip, even in other mods Ramun is not a fair slaver, go for the other slavers instead of him)and sell all the prisoners for a quick 10k. Yes, that much; But please do not just go for these guys, I have ran into better selling items, the mystmountain tribes are just quite common, experiment with other enemy types, see which one sells the most. And for a few more denars you can pack your inventory full of armor/weapons from battles, doesn't give much but is a little boost to your pockets.Whilst fighting and selling this is a really good time to start exploring your new land, and while it may not seem like it at first, when you dig into the game it is very extensive, we'll look at the Noldor for a bit. Now if you believe the Jatu are difficult you must stay away from Laria, or just from that whole section till you hit Marleons. The Noldor are an ancient race that over time has been fought by the invaders in Pendor that they are now just hostile to everyone. And everyone really should be afraid.

The Noldor are deadly, their twilight knights are the best in the game. Now, you may think of avoiding them the rest of the game, till you realize that you can became friends with them.and have to. Yes, the main victory condition of the game is to become friends with the Noldor, it is a challenge considering you're at war with them from the start, but don't fret, as now we are happily farming prisoners and making 10k often, we can head to the book merchants for help.

There are 2 new books you can find; 3 actually! 'Stolen Notes of Luciana of Ethos' & 'Codex of the Righteous Ranger', both of these are high in price, but are more than worth it, using both will increase your relation with the Noldor by +20, so that means they're not hostile anymore! So we have befriended the deadliest enemy.cool! We'll check on them later. So now that we've gained a ton of money and renown, we are now an actual piece on the board of Pendor.

Before we move on in our adventure we need to start stocking up for war. So we're onto our conquest, almost.

Before setting off with our riches, we need to use those. You will require 5 Qualis gems before you become the greatest warrior in Pendor. That sounds like a lot, that is because it is, you think you could just easily become the greatest equiped warrior ever? We got freaking DoomGuides to be afraid of!Now we need to head for Rane as we shall use as much energy to gain a Qualis Gem, as we are to get rid of it. Start walking around Rane, make a left when you go through the gate, and at the end, right-left, then turn right and you might notice a hidden chest (not so hidden), in this is a free qualis gem.Now before you get all giddy, we are going to use this as it should be used, stupidly. We now need to go tavern to tavern till we find a chap named Brother Randalf, once we do ask him about rumors, you will need to do this. If he does not give a 'opportunity' then you will have to wait a day or 2 and run around till you find him again.

This is long and tedious- but worth it. At some point he will budge and give you a 'Map to the Hidden mines of Al-Aziz' in exchange for that Qualis Gem you probably blew on hookers 'n blow! Now head for the Jatu filled lands near Al-Aziz, head there and be confused!

This is where the other 4 Qualis Gems come in! Now this is the most difficult thing you're going to encounter, you know those little thousand man war parties? Yea, you have to defeat those, capture their leader, and ransom him for a Qualis Gem, 4 times. For me, the easiest one was Warlord Zulkar, and he wasn't easy.

You are going to need help, for these parties, I recommend getting the help of your friends.A good way is to hopefully become a marshal, call everyone for war, and hunt down these parties, not easy. These special parties are marked by a custom name, such as Warlord Zulkar or Wolfbode the Slayer. And their army list is fit like a lord, with the leader having a% after his name.So after either cheating yourself some Qualis Gems or spending 100 days fighting them we shall now head to the mines of Al-Aziz.

Walk up to the man running the stall and ask for the Two-Handed Sword. Now the next weapon is your choice, I recommend the Bow as you'll see in a moment. Now once you have the weapons (put them in your inventory with your food first), and walk over to the other man (I forgot, you need to have gotten a couple bottles of wine before talking to him), and initiate the dialogue, when you get to a list of Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald weapons. Ask for Sapphire on both weaponsIf done correctly you should have a Sapphire Rune Bow and Sapphire Two Handed Sword.Congrats, you just got the most damaging and fastest weapons in the game. You are now a one man army, swinging faster than others can attack, with quadrouple times the damage.

And a bow that shoots like a automatic gun, with pin point accuracy; Welcome to Pendor. So whilst on your deadly journey to be the rightful king of Pendor, you'll come across- when talking with your minister, the option for culture, I recommend the Old King culture (or Pendor, this is the canon choice). Pendor troops are quite cheap and very deadly when they become Bladesmen or Foot Knights! Plus most KnightHood Orders require them for the honor troops.Oh crap! So KnightHood Orders are really small factions basically, they do roam around in patrols on the map, not often though. But KHO's are a big part of the game still as I believe they're the main thing that will end the Snake Cult!

Pendor

For me since I loved the Noldor I went for the Silvermist Rangers, the only faction that is not hateful of the Noldor and are even dedicated to them! I shall also mention they're deadly as all hell, next to the Shadow Wolves, they're my favorite. Now it is possible to create your own order! Of course costing you a Qualis Gem, but after pouring a couple 100k's of denars into your CKHO's troops, you can become the most deadliest troops.

Even rivaling the fore-mentioned Twilight Knights! But it is a very good idea to stick with a Order, join them, complete quests and you'll earn rank points, once you gain 300 of these (not easy) next time you head to one of their chapters (found/created in towns or castles), you will be jumped by high tier Snake Cultists, after 4 swings of your sword they're down, btw, you can see how many rank points you have in the Character Reports. But back to the quest, after you take them down, you talk with the man and you find out the Grandmaster was assassinated by these Cultists. You're given the quest to find info about the Snake Cult, you now have to run around to travelers such as Brother Randalf and ask about the Snake Cult, after some point they will finally take and give you the location of their stronghold! Now this is not an easy siege, the castle is filled with 1000 Cultists.50 Serpent Priestesses, 50 Anaconda Knights, 100 Cobra Warriors, 300 Snake Cult Armsmen, and 500 Snake Cult Followers.

Anaconda Knights and Serpent Priestesses are very dangerous. So be sure to gather up top tier men and vassels before you besiege the castle. And tip, DO NOT RETREAT AT ALL DURING THE BATTLE, you will be forced to sit this battle out sadly, less it will count as a defeat and your whole party will be disbanded (yes the entire party).Once you capture the stronghold it will be your Order's. Or yours, as now that you have proven yourself and no Grandmaster to dispute, you are now the leader of the Order. Congrats! And for those who have the Snake Cult book or a item that says 'Interesting to Orders', giving those to a KHO will increase your relation with them. One last note, the Noldor. The Noldor are difficult to become friends with, after reading the books you are forced to just help them in battles, which is quite easy, just follow them around or lead enemies to them and aid them in battles. At some point you will hit a limit, about 15 relation with them is enough. Go to Laria and talk with a person named Quigfen, he'll give you a quest to go hunt down a Jatu army in the Laria woods (Luckily only 200 Jatu). After defeating them head back to Quigfen and finish the quest, you'll automatically gain 15 relation with them which should bump you to 30.

Once you leave, you may notice a new town in the woods, Elacrai! Head there, talk with everyone in the castle hall, and enjoy the lore. Welcome to Prophesy of Pendor! @MagicTurtleUltDefinitely outdated; PoP has updated twice I believe since I created this!

Sadly, I haven't played it in a good long while, I might add a Out-Dated label in the title. Hopefully I will return and be able to update the guide someday; lol. And thank you for the info, if/when I too get dragged into PoP again, I will surely check out your method!Anyways, I am over-joyed to hear that my guide helped you out so much through your game! I honestly never thought it would get this much attention in the first place be so liked. Can't believe I still get the occasional comment for something that hasn't been updated in a year and a half.

I've used this awesome guide before in playing PoP and I found myself relying on it again to find the story and Noldor quests. That being said I think the money-making aspect of the guide is a little out of date (I think a recent update changed a lot about income).

I found it far better to take leadership early and take mercenary contracts to make money while I farmed small fry (snake cult for me) for xp and their weapons. I then used the money to buy property in every city in Pendor. It took me roughly 100 in-game days to do it and since my money woes appear over. I am not terribly far into this play through yet and only have an army of about 200, but they are all top-tier elite troops (about a quarter in the quality of KHO knights, half of KHO sergeants, and the last quarter of top-tier faction units) and their upkeep is easily taken care of without resorting to tournaments or even the sale of items (but I am constantly farming because I love that part of the game).
