Deadly Civil War Of Skyrim

Deadly Civil War Of Skyrim

So only recently I've noticed that every few hours the game will crash in the middle of combat To be specific, it freezes when my sword makes contact with an enemy, most commonly when it's bears or other humans. The freezing is so severe that I even doing alt+tab or opening task manager can't close the window of SSE, I have to ctrl+alt+del and sign out of my computer to make the window go away.

Civil

This has only been going on recently and I don't have many mods that drastically change combat. This used to happen once every few hours but now it's once every hour or so. I can barely play the civil war without a crash or two every battle. Open Cities doesn't play well with a lot of other mods and has a lot of problems as well. That's because the game is meant to load cities and cells at certain points to keep resources manageable for the computer, otherwise you get crashes.Alternative Start is another mod with a lot of problems, even though I use it and haven't had a crash in hundreds of hours.

Do Frostfall and Wet and Cold conflict? Deadly Civil War can conflict and cause problems too.Skyrim SE is the most stable Elder Scrolls game I've ever played, and I've played all of them since Morrowind. I haven't had a single crash in hundreds of hours of play and I'm using 80+ mods, but I read all the mod descriptions and posts first to make sure I'm not installing a problematic mod plus I use LOOT and the Save Editor to get rid of orphaned scripts. Afterwards my first swing froze the game.

I'll look into removing Civil war and perhaps new start. I guess my biggest issue is I don't know why this is happening, as I have no mods that would change anything with actual combat, especially none of these ones I've been looking at.
